On 26.09.2019 EA System presented the current Smart City project of Dresden at the IHK energy meeting “MAtchUP”. Together with consortium partners from the Dresden Economic Development Agency and DREWAG, questions of the attendees were answered and opinions exchanged in a casual atmosphere.

Within the European Horizon 2020 project “MAtchUP”, Dresden will develop into a leading Smart City in the coming years. During the implementation process up to 2022, the city will establish itself as a so-called Lighthouse City (pioneer city) in the Johannstadt project district, alongside Valencia (Spain) and Antalia (Turkey). Within the project MAtchUP, particular emphasis will be placed on energy efficiency and renewable energies, mobility, digitalization and citizen participation.
